People tend to stop at the apparent explications, or those socially recognized, or explained with the help of the dominant theories. But neither the appearance nor the general beliefs or current theories do not guarantee us the true explanation. This for many reasons.

We all feel a deep need to evolve, to grow in our existence. Adults reach a final form, where this push should give way to a more stable position, the desire to increase giving way to the need to put the values acquired in childhood in the service of society. This is in fact a socio-capitalist model: the accumulated values must be made profitable for the good of the community.

Primary causes
When it comes to explain the unfortunate events or existential problems, we easily tend to stop the first causes coming to mind. As cognitive psychologists say: that is a matter of “cognitive cost.” The mind tends to apply the law of least effort, and be content with explanations found quickly, even if they are unfounded or contrary to logic.

Psychanalytic approach on the Unconscious
According to Freud, the unconscious is divided into two authorities: the id, origin of instinctive impulses, and the superego, recording all moral conditioning since early childhood. Prohibitions and traumas of the early period are prolonged and affect the adult’s life, him not having the slightest clue. Hence come the repression of sexual impulses and neurosis.

Rational way

Access to psychic abilities challenges the limits that are usually between rational and irrational. But first, how to define the irrational? The dictionary says: “that does not belong to the domain of reason, does not come from reasoning. Exceeding the intellect, which is not consistent with logic or common sense”.
Reality of the extrasensory
Opinions are divided in the population: about half of respondents believe that paranormal phenomena exist, and one that it is hallucinations, illusions, or charlatanry. Neutral or indifferent reviews are rare. The subject gives rise to significant tensions, without anyone being able to tell things apart. This situation shows that the popular intuition carries some reminiscence of the extrasensory, even in a society whose standards are trying to expel it.

Rediscover the natural laws of love

Relevant theoretical basis

This is exactly what happened to classical psychoanalysis: the original axiom, postulating that the purpose of the non-procreative sexual instinct is mere pleasure, is a contradiction regards to the laws of evolution. It follows from the classic image of sexuality as source of pleasure and from the denial of extrasensory Freud and all the pioneers surrounding him had in common(except for Jung). It was impossible to assign to this strange instinct a transcendent purpose without getting in an awkward position facing science, which is what everybody wanted to avoid. Paradoxically, it is precisely this concealment that deprived psychoanalysis of the empirical basis without which building a scientifically sound theory.
Religious faith
Religions require people to believe in themselves and in God. If we could actually access the promised wonders, you wouldn’t need to believe ! In other words, the requirement is the very evidence of the lie at the core of religions.
This demonstration as caricatured as it is, still reflects a poor reality: if everyone had psychic abilities, religious formalism supposed to grant us access to the deity would be useless. Corollary: the religions have a vital interest to turn away people from any possible access to the deity, while giving us as countermark for the heaven a duty of blind belief altogether with a promise of salvation. We remain faithful to the religion. Others would say, captive.
Why is this faith often accompanied by sexual prohibition? The explanation is twofold: religion ensures monopoly of access to the divine, prohibiting a priori what constitutes the natural access. Yet it is possible that some religious leaders have had the intuition that the cause of the failure lay in spiritual degradation of sexuality (hence the notion of sin in the flesh). Lacking better explanations, they anathematized sex in general, preserving the necessities of reproduction.
Note also that religious faith is studded with doubt, even among the greatest saints. The phenomenon is explained again by the fact that faith is a form of mystification, so that it generates at the unconscious level a reactional formation (hypertrophied faith, martyrs, and fundamentalism) or a clear rejection (atheism, rationalism, indifference). In any case, the question arises, whether in the form of crises, or more covert, marking the disagreement of our deep intuitions.
Natural extrasensory access frees us from this cumbersome problem. It replaces religious faith by a concrete access to the transcendent dimension and spiritual values. Instead of believing, to merey be is enough…

As is known in mathematics, when changing an axiom, change the whole theory. The image we have of the world and of man, all the scientific and philosophical knowledge, our thought patterns, our beliefs and tenets, our representations are based on our perception of reality.
Scientific and divinatory approach
Both approaches seem a priori incompatible. The illusion comes from the fact that there is no known scientifically defined natural gateway to psychic abilities.
All attempts in the past have been the esoteric or religious fashion. The conviction was thus installed in our culture that we should renounce the scientific perspective to benefit from the contributions of the paranormal. It is not so.

Useless trials and errors
Conventional psychotherapies are based on different models of psychic functioning, which generally ignore the psychic dimension and all that follows.
